Here is a close up of the papers. I snagged an Autumn paper stack on clearance at Michael's! =)
I wanted to show you what our thankful board is replacing. For the last 2-3 years we have been updating our "feathers" on our thankful turkey. See the directions here at the Parents Magazine site if you are interested. To be honest, it is a little hard to get it to always stand up and I've had to rig it. I have save my feathers every year so it is neat to look back and see what the kids were thankful for when they were 3 years old. =)

Yeah I was eyeing this board to replace the turkey too. I did the turkey last year after you shared it, but it's been the biggest pain to store! I love the idea of just a flat board.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! =)
This is such a great idea (though, to be fair, I also love the turkey!) Please swing by and post this on Not "Baaad" Sundays if you get a chance :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the turkey too, but it just wasn't very easy to get it to stay upright (for myself or my friends). =)
ReplyDeletelove the board, plan on making one this year for our family, thanks
