Disneyland!! {March 2011}

We took a two day trip to Disneyland with our Southern California zip code discount! Here are a few pictures of our time at the Happiest Place on Earth! =)This is on the shuttle from parking at our hotel, on our way to Disney!
Waiting for their first ride...Dumbo!
Cami and Joy.
Brandon, Nana, and the kids on the teacups.
Cami and Joy on the Jungle Cruise.
On the way into It's a Small World!

The kids were dancing to the music down Main Street USA!

The first night we went to World Of Color in California Adventure! It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. My few pictures do it no justice at all. It is a color show projected on a screen of water.

I uploaded a video of the finale to youtube. Click here to watch it.
There is really only ONE ride that we cared about in CA Adventure...Soarin'Over California! It is my favorite ride in BOTH parks! The kids are finally tall enough to try it and they LOVED it!
When we returned to Disneyland that night, we met the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.
Early in the morning on Day 2, we were in line for Peter Pan and I had to snap this picture! These are strangers, but it's hilarious...the women must be inside the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique because they are all three sitting down outside on their phones. The funniest part is the man sitting in the kiddy stroller!
Ironically, right after riding Peter Pan we ran into him!

Here is Rapunzel's tower... Her hair comes out the window and loops around the next building! So cool!

Here they are, waiting in line to see Rapunzel!
Her hair was ALL over the floor and twirled around the room!
While we were waiting in line to see Sleeping Beauty, I felt someone standing next to me all of a sudden. I heard in a rude voice "Get out of the way, child". Emma and I both turned around and were shocked to see the evil queen from Snow White! Emma froze! Haha! I couldn't get my camera out fast enough, so I got her walking away.
Sleeping Beauty had to leave but she gave the girls a hug since we couldn't get her autograph.
Here we are waiting in the slow moving Pixie Hollow line.

They first got to meet Rosetta!
Next was Tinkerbell and Vidia.
To give our aching feet a break we rode the Monorail around the park to just be able to sit for a few minutes!

They are doing construction at CA Adventure and these walls were up all over the place. Oswald is a character from Epic Mickey, the Wii game the girls and I have beat about 5 times!
Emma found- you guessed it- a bunny!
In line for day 2 of Soarin' before we left town!

We were very blessed to have two days at the happiest place on earth! I wish I could live there! ;) It was good for my heart after all of the heartache of the past few weeks.

Emergency Kit {A girl on the go's best friend!}

I subscribe to TidyMom's Blog and as soon as I saw her post on making a Girl's Emergency Kit, I knew I had to make one! This is so EASY and Smart! Click on the link for the tutorial to learn how to make your own. It is simply a square potholder with snack size baggies sewn in it, and folded in half. You sew in a ribbon and button closure and you're done!

The baggies are overlapped and a zig zag stitch is run down the middle.
Fill your baggies with whatever you always need, but never seem to have on you. Batteries, floss, safety pins, bandaids {those pesky new-shoe blisters!}, Q-tips, Salonpas heat patches {back pain}, mini hand sanitizer, etc. Stash it in your glove box or purse and you'll never be without something you need again! I'm so excited!

The Littlebeane Boutique Giveaway Winnings!

I was lucky enough to WIN a blog giveaway from The Twinery Blog! The prize was 5 sheets of personalized 2.5 inch stickers, 60 address labels AND a personalized set of recipe cards!! I was SO excited! They are from The Littlebeane Boutique, and I thought I'd share them with you. I didn't show the other address labels because it would have been too hard to not show my address, but they have a big turquoise "B" with black polka dots, and then our name and address off to the right. I have ordered from The Littlebeane Boutique before and her work is amazing! Check it out...I covered up the address, but I LOVE these round address labels!
These are the recipe cards I chose.

Love the lemons!
How cute are these whisks?!

I loved these Easter ones! (I didn't know that these would have my name on them but oh well!)
There are a handful of different cupcake sticker designs to choose from- it's a hard decision! I LOVE how everything turned out and most of all that it was FREE!! Check out the Twinery's blog, it's really cool (and they're on facebook). And be sure to remember The Littlebeane Boutique when you are planning a party (there are PAGES of party designs!!) , looking for a personalized gift for a baker in your life, or shopping for yourself!
