I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the INSIDE of the treat boxes because they were SO cute! For weeks I have been slicing the paper off of crayons, melting them and filling ladybug molds. I then grouped them together in a clear cello bag with green paper shred, ladybug crayons on top, and tied it with a cute scalloped tag. The boxes also included a bottle of ladybug bubbles, and one of Nandie's FAMOUSLY perfect cookies! Thankfully I took a picture of the cookies when I picked them up. They are big and BEAUTIFUL! I brought a small helium tank and blew up polka dot balloons to add to tables.
I am in LOVE with fabric strip banners!! Isn't it beautiful? It couldn't be easier! This would be SO cute hung above a bed in the colors of the room!
The metal cupcake stand is from my niece's wedding. I changed the edging and lining to match. It turned out super cute, and most importantly it holds a LOT of cupcakes! I also made ladybug chocolate covered oreos with molds I bought from Spinningleaf.com. I got the idea for ladybug pretzels from Pinterest, and they turned out super cute!
I just thought I'd show you what the red chalkboard looked like "before". Ugly huh? Lucky for me, I see this and recognize potential. It was only $6.88 at Rescued Treasures and it's HUGE! All it needed was some paint! ;)
Thanks SO much, Akers family for trusting me with your party! It was a blessing to me! :) Love you!
What an adorable party! You did a great job! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun party that must have been! The treat boxes must have been amazing, but the pictures you do have of the party certainly look awesome (and delicious)! I featured your party on my "ladybug party roundup" here - http://themeaparty.com/9677/party-roundup-cool-ladybug-party-ideas
ReplyDeleteTake care,
