Yes, I have an obsession, I admit it. I just can't help myself, I love the hunt. Enjoy my latest creations!
This one looks like plates I have seen at Anthropologie. I found it at Home Goods for $2.99. The glass base was fifty cents at a thrift store.
I wanted you to be able to see the base of the tall one here. I love it! I paid $2.50 for it, which is a lot by thrift store standards, but it's really tall and I just love how formal it looks. So I paired it with this all white plate I found for $3.99 at Home Goods.
A close up of the all-white design. I love how classic this one turned out, it is my new favorite!
The bottom one in this picture I bought at Home Goods on our way to San Francisco last month. I can't remember, but I believe it was $5.99. It is my widest plate. The base is a glass I got at a thrift store for less than $1.
This top plate I found for fifty cents at Rescued Treasures and the base I bought for a dime at a yard sale. I have to find somewhere to display some of my creations!
Jaime - love your cake plate creations! What do you use to glue the base to the plate?
ReplyDeletesorry! I am just now seeing this comment! I changed my settings so that it will email them to me. I use E6000 glue. I have also used Gorilla glue if you can't see the bottom (because it's not clear)
