Today was speech club and while Cami originally signed up and then chickened out during discussions of what she could talk about, Emma was brave enough to go for speech number 2.
She was teaching how to make Halloween cookie bark! For some reason when we pulled in the parking lot this morning she got a little nervous, even though last time she wasn't nervous at all. She asked me to stand next to her while she gave her speech. **sigh** Well, at least she didn't back out altogether.
There were some really funny how-to speeches this morning, and even a couple of brothers whose mom taught one to do a mime dance and one to tap dance. They brought their own music and the mime came in full costume and face paint!
