Pumpkin towel

I saw this idea on a blog and loved it! Today I ran into Target but they didn't have the plain white towels I wanted so I bought green. I freehanded a pumpkin and stem on cardstock and then traced onto the fabric. I was super bummed when I got home and realized I was out of wonder under, so I just fray checked the edges of the fabric pieces and then used lots of pins. For those of you who don't know, wonder under (or different brands) allows you to iron the fabric in place before stitching it. It helps a lot, and I would never do a tricky shape without first ironing it on.

Not as cute as the original blog, but cute nonetheless! =)
